Two-time Le Mans podium placer Giorgio Roda, 12-time IMSA race winner Mikkel Jensen, and two-time ELMS race winner Gregoire Saucy will contest the 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series (ALMS) with United Autosports, going in hot pursuit of the championship title in the #5 ORECA 07.
The line-up reveals an exciting double driver debut, as both Roda and Jensen prepare to race in United Autosports’ colours for the first time. Together with Gregoire Saucy - a familiar face in the United Autosports WEC and ELMS camp - this talented trio look set to make a big impression in the growing Asian endurance series.
For Italian Giorgio Roda, this will mark his fifth consecutive season in the ALMS where he has, to date, celebrated eight podium finishes. Roda has also secured two podium finishes in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2024 and 2025), and in October wrapped up a solid season in the ultra-competitive 2025 European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro/Am class, delivering four pole positions (Barcelona, Imola, Spa-Francorchamps and Portimão) and celebrating second place in the 4 Hours of Imola, adding another podium to his 11-strong ELMS tally.
“I’m really happy to be joining United Autosports for the ALMS 2025/2026,” says Roda. “The team has been a strong reference in LMP2 for a long time, and after showing great pace and consistency last season, I’m really looking forward to getting started. The target is to be competitive and fight at the front. The level is always high, but with United Autosports and my teammates, I’m confident we can do a solid job together.”
The second new addition to the team, FIA Platinum-graded driver Mikkel Jensen has built up a seriously impressive LMP2 track record over the past six seasons. Since his race-winning IMSA debut at the 2020 Petit Le Mans, Jensen has celebrated 22 LMP2 podium finishes including 12 race wins out of 32 IMSA races contested (2020-2025) - making him a formidable addition to the United Autosports LMP2 line-up.
“I’m incredibly excited to be taking part in Asian Le Mans Series with United Autosports,” says Jensen. “We’ve been competitors for the last six seasons in LMP2 and now we are joining forces! I’m looking forward to beginning the season in Malaysia next month and will do my best to try and win a Le Mans 24 Hours entry for the team.”
The third addition to the #5 line-up is Gregoire Saucy who has quickly established himself as a competitive force in the endurance paddock, after making the switch to sportscars in 2024. Two seasons later, the Swiss driver is a WEC LMGT3 podium placer (2025 Qatar 1812Km), two-time ELMS LMP2 Pro/Am race winner (2024 4 Hours of Le Castellet and 4 Hours of Mugello) and further two-time ELMS LMP2 Pro/Am podium placer (2024 4 Hours of Barcelona and 4 Hours of Imola).
“I am really excited to start this new adventure in the Asian Le Mans Series for the 2025/26 season with United Autosports,” says Saucy. “It is always good to continue with the same team, and I am really pleased to be with this team for the winter. I am looking forward to racing at Sepang first, it is a new track for me and it seems very interesting. Abu Dhabi and Dubai I know from a long time ago now, but in single seaters so this will be a new experience. We will work hard towards a strong ALMS season together – no winter break this year, let’s go!”
Jensen and Saucy’s ALMS signings with United Autosports follow the recent news that the two drivers will contest the upcoming 24 Hours at Daytona with reigning race winners United Autosports USA (read more).
“We are going to the Asian Le Mans Series with a clear aim to win the championship with the strongest driver line-ups, strongest crew and fastest cars,” says Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO, “and these driver signings are three very strong statements of intent."
