Two exciting new additions to the United Autosports roster, Andrey Mukovoz and Alexey Nesov, will further strengthen the team’s lineup for the remaining rounds of the Asian Le Mans Series. The pair will compete in the formidable McLaren 720S GT3 Evo at the Dubai Autodrome and Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit, aiming for the podium top spot.
The partnership marks a significant step as experienced teammates Mukovoz and Nesov debut for United Autosports alongside returning Northern Irishman, Wayne Boyd. Boyd celebrated his tenth season with United Autosports in 2025, launching his LMGT3 campaign at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit in December alongside Garnet Patterson and Mark Rosser.
United Autosports welcomes Andrey Mukovoz, who joins following a series of impressive performances in sports car and endurance racing events. The 43-year old signing enjoyed success in GT World Challenge Bronze Cup, with two class victories in 2023 at the Hockenheim Ring, contributing to a fourth-place finish in the driver’s standings. Further success came in 2024, including a third-place finish in class at Monza, and a category triumph at the 24 Hours of Spa, where he shared victory with Alexy Nesov.
“Having closely followed the races in Malaysia, I’m really excited to be joining United Autosports for the remaining rounds of the Asian Le Mans Series in Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” says Mukovoz. “The circuits present unique and demanding challenges, but with the support of such a well-respected team with a raft of proven results, I am confident that we can fight at the very front of the pack. With Alexey and Wayne alongside, our goal is to hit the ground running and work tirelessly for the best results possible.”
The second new addition is Slovenian racer Alexey Nesov. Nesov isn’t unfamiliar with GT racing, as he arrives at United Autosports having already competed in Intercontinental GT Challenge, GT World Challenge and the 24H Series Middle East Trophy. At the wheel of an Audi R8 GT3, Nesov secured a class win at the 2024 24 Hours of Spa. Nesov started his career racing single seaters, with notable success in Formula 4, before transitioning into GT racing, as a result the 22-year old brings a wealth of experience and speed to the United Autosports stable. His impressive track record in various feeder series and endurance events has consistently demonstrated his exceptional skill and determination and will be an undeniably great asset to the team.
“Joining United Autosports and representing the McLaren brand is a momentous opportunity,” says Nesov. “The team has a great pedigree and I am eager to contribute to its ongoing success alongside Wayne and Andrey. The McLaren is an incredible machine, and I’m looking forward to extracting its full potential at two of the most challenging racetracks on the calendar.”
“We’re delighted to welcome Alexey and Andrey to the team for the remainder of the Asian Le Mans Series,” says Tom Hodgson, United Autosports Customer Racing Director. “We took away significant learnings from Malaysia, and with the introduction of both these experienced GT drivers, and a competitive car, we’re a force to be reckoned with.”
The 2025/2026 Asian Le Mans Series continues at the Dubai Autodrome with Race 1 on 31 January 2026, and Race 2 on 1 February 2026, followed by Abu Dhabi on 7 and 8 February 2026. Stay up to date with the team in the meantime on social @unitedautosports.
