UNITED AUTOSPORTS WELCOME JAKOB ANDREASEN TO THE TEAM AS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Jakob Andreasen will succeed Dave Greenwood, former Ferrari F1 race engineer, as Technical Director at United Autosports.

Heading up the engineering department, Jakob will work across all racing campaigns, from LMP2 in FIA WEC and ELMS, to the LMP3 projects in LMC.

An impressive racing history across multiple disciplines, with 17 years spent within Formula 1, Jakob joins the team having engineered multiple Formula 1 drivers and most recently, the current reigning, 24 Hours of Le Mans champions Toyota Gazoo Racing.

Jakob brings a huge amount of experience to the team, his appointment will strengthen United’s technical department with further appointments and investment in its new West Yorkshire base due to be announced over the coming months. Jakob joins the team with immediate effect and will be present at Spa-Francorchamps ahead of the penultimate round of the ELMS and LMC this weekend.
