United Autosports are ready to head to Spa Francorchamps, for the fourth round of 2021 GT4 European Series. Next weekend’s races take the 2021 season over the halfway mark, with United Autosports lying second in the Silver Class Championship, only seven points behind the leaders.

Bailey Voisin and Charlie Fagg head to Spa second in the Drivers’ Championship with only 11 points separating them from regaining the Drivers’ title lead.  Bailey and Charlie in the #23 McLaren 570S are determined to take charge of the famous Belgian track and return to the podium once again. Charlie has experienced success at Spa Francorchamps circuit before, claiming pole position in 2018 British GT Championship, in a McLaren 570S.

Gus Bowers and Dean Macdonald will be looking to extract the maximum performance from the #32 after their unfortunate DNF in race one at Zandvoort. Gus and Dean are feeling confident ahead of Spa with the aim of standing on the podium once again after their success at the opening round at Monza. Dean has had previous success at Spa Francorchamps, placing his 2019 British GT Championship McLaren 570S entry car on pole by three tenths, having also won the race the previous year in 2018.

Spa Francorchamps will prove to be a busy and exciting weekend for United Autosports as team owners Zak Brown and Richard Dean are also getting behind the wheel, to drive the #230 McLaren 570S. Zak and Richard will be making their return to GT and modern racing alongside the regular #23 and #32 entries of Bailey, Charlie, Gus and Dean, having focused on historic entries in the past.

Live TV coverage on the GT4 European Series website and YouTube will be available for Friday’s qualifying and first race. The second race on Saturday will also be available to watch on the above-mentioned streaming platforms.

“I am really excited that Richard and I still have the opportunity to race the McLaren 570S in the GT4 European Series, and especially around Spa Francorchamps. The track is awesome and as team owners we have had some great successes here, so hopefully we can get the same results as drivers this time!”

Richard Dean

“I am looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the McLaren 570S GT4 car. It has been a while since I raced a modern car around a track, so I am even more excited that it can be at Spa Francorchamps which is such a famous circuit.”

“We’re now heading into the last few rounds of the season and are looking to fight back for the championship lead. Spa is an amazing track and our drivers have had some great successes here so it should hopefully prove to be a good weekend for the team.”
