United Autosports is gearing up for another year of expansion in 2023, with key investments and personnel appointments driving the company to the next stage of its business journey.

What does that look like? (1) To continue building a world-renowned motorsport business, (2) race in the most competitive championships around the world and (3) secure a factory deal with a car manufacturer to compete in the very top tier of sportscar endurance racing.

United’s factory racing ambitions would propel the team from the LMP2 and LMP3 classes to the Hypercar category. That means going for outright victory in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans. It means racing for total glory in the World Endurance Championship. It means battling with the likes of BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche … and United is determined to join the fight.

In October 2022, a decisive step was taken with the hiring of Jakob Andreasen as the Technical Director (read more). Andreasen has engineered multiple F1 drivers, including then F1 World Champion Jenson Button and reigning 24 Hours of Le Mans champions, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing. Now, he brings his expertise to United’s championship teams.

At the end of the 2022 race season, another key appointment was made – this time, expanding the company’s investor advisory board with the introduction of Brendan P. Keegan. Brendan is the CEO of Merchants Fleet, the fastest growing fleet management company in North America, who joins Phil Burgan, Executive Chairman and owner of Maria Mallaband Care Group, and Joe Henderson, founder of Henderson Insurance Group and Attis Insurance Brokers, on the board.

Heavyweights in their respective industries, the board brings a wealth of knowledge and proven business acumen which - together with Richard Dean’s racing experience and Zak Brown’s strategic brain - will navigate the United Autosports ship to the next stage of its extraordinary business journey.
