Mission Foods - the world’s leading brand for tortillas and wraps - is joining forces with United Autosports for the 2024 Rolex 24 at Daytona, taking on the role of the Anglo-American team’s Official Food Partner.

For the US brand, headquartered in Texas, the focus at the track is fuelling the United Autosports team through the landmark endurance race - drivers, mechanics, engineers, technicians, physiotherapists, photographers and more - with tortilla chips and tortilla-based snacks to keep the crew energised and focussed.

“It is fantastic to have Mission Foods on board for the Rolex 24 at Daytona,” says Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO. “This race is a huge physical and mental challenge for the whole United Autosports team, so it will be a very welcome boost to have the Mission Foods tortillas and snacks on hand to fuel continued energy, precision and determination as we go for victory at Daytona Speedway.”

Eye-catching Mission Foods branding is displayed on the nose and fin of the #2 United Autosports ORECA 07, the race suits of the full #2 driver line-up of Ben Keating, Ben Hanley, Nico Pino and Pato O’Ward, and the United Autosports crew.

In addition to the various activations at Daytona Speedway, Mission Foods has also installed special in-store displays at grocery stores close to the track, featuring IndyCar star Pato O’Ward in his Daytona race suit, promoting Mission Foods’ fresh and authentic Mexican products.

“I’m really looking forward to getting all the Daytona activities underway,” says Pato. “I’ve been lucky enough to win it twice, and I would love to do it again. It’s very physically and mentally draining for the drivers, mechanics, engineers … everybody involved … so we’re going to be needing Mission Foods tortilla chips. I’ll definitely be having some of those with salsa and guac between stints!”
