Ligier Sports Cars UK will be present at the Autosport International Show on 12-15 January at the NEC, Birmingham.
Autosport International is Europe’s largest motorsport show and Ligier Sports Cars UK will have one of the most prominent stands – adjacent to the main stage. On display will be the Ligier JS P3 sports prototype that customers can buy from the UK-based company. Representatives from Ligier Sports Cars UK will be available to talk to anyone interested in the most popular LMP3 car on the market. The Ligier JS P3 has proven success after winning both the 2016 European Le Mans Series and V de V Championship.
The Ligier JS P3 is eligible to race worldwide and is cost capped at €206,000 providing teams and drivers an affordable racing option. The LMP3 category was launched by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) in 2015 and the class has grown rapidly over the last 12 months.
The hugely successful Ligier JS P3, of which 12 cars have already been sold into the UK market, and Ligier JS 53 EVO 2 CN cars are all available through United Autosports’ Ligier Sports Cars UK operation.
Customers interested in purchasing a Ligier JS P3 can also visit the Prototype Cup stand (6770) to talk to the team about entering the first full season of Le Mans Prototype racing in the UK. The Prototype Cup acts as the perfect feeder series for anyone wishing to race at the Le Mans 24 Hours. Along with the British Prototype Cup, these LMP3 cars can also be raced in the European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Sprint Cup, V de V Endurance Series, the IMSA Prototype Challenge in the USA and various national series.
The Autosport Show will be open to trade visitors on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 January, with the show open to the public on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 January. Ligier Sports Cars UK will be based in hall eight on stand 2400.
