This weekend, the streets will be filled with the roar of historic Grand Prix-winning cars – including the Williams FW07B which lead Alan Jones to F1 World Championship success in 1980.

Zak Brown, United Autosports team co-owner, will be racing his historic Williams at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix - almost 44 years to the day since Alan Jones raced in the 38th Monaco Grand Prix. That was in 1980, when Jones steered the 500hp engine to five F1 victories and a further five podiums, securing his F1 World Championship title.

This weekend, Zak will contest Race Category F which is comprised of Historic F1 Grand Prix cars 3L from 1977 to 1980. Last time, he was behind the wheel of the fully rebuilt Cosworth engine, he secured P4 at the 2023 Velocity invitational so it’s all eyes on the podium in Monaco.

When is the race: Sunday 12th May 15:35 CEST / 14:35 BST
