EUROPEAN LE MANS SERIES:

4 HOURS OF ALGARVE & 4 HOURS OF PORTIMAO

The ELMS squad have two races this weekend - the 4 Hours of Algarve (Friday) and 4 Hours of Portimao (Sunday) - owing to the cancelled Imola round earlier this year.

The #21 Pro/Am ORECA 07 of Daniel Schneider, Nelson Piquet Jr and Andy Meyrick has celebrated podiums at the past two rounds in Aragon and Spa, putting us in good stead for a strong end to the season.

The #22 crew of Phil Hanson, Oliver Jarvis and Marino Sato salvaged a P5 finish last month in Spa after a dramatic race start (read more). With just 26 points spanning the LMP2 Pro championship scoreboard, however, it’s all to play for this weekend with two full point-scoring races ahead and a maximum of 52 points available.
