1990 FORD SIERRA COSWORTH
Chassis MTRS01 won the 1990 British Touring Car Championship in the hands of Robb Gravett.
His Trackstar team co-owner, Radio 1 Breakfast DJ, the late Mike Smith, and 1984 World Rally Champion, Stig Blomqvist, also drove the Sierra at Brands Hatch and Donington Park respectively joining Robb in the two-driver, long distance races.
This Ford won nine rounds outright with eight pole positions and eight fastest laps to claim the BTCC title which gave the Sierra RS500 its swansong Championship victory before the new 2-litre cars took over the following year.
