This car scored a pole position in the 1984 Le Mans 24 Hours, with its sister car joining it on the front row of the grid.

It led for 17 hours until gearbox problems resulted in it losing the lead. It did however complete the full race distance, finishing in eighth position.

The Lancia also won the Kyalami 1000km and scored a pole position at the 1000km of Silverstone.

This chassis has also raced at Monza, Brands Hatch, Hockenheim and Spa.
