Racing career

Freddie Lubin grew up watching F1 and IndyCar, inspired by his dad’s passion for cars. His first serious foray into karting was when he was 13, racing in club level events - and from that day on, he knew he wanted to pursue a career in motorsport.

The young Brit entered the single-seater world shortly after, contesting his first Formula 4 season when he was 14. He kicked off the year with a hat trick of race points at Donington Park, won six Rookie Cup races throughout the season, and wrapped up with second place in the rookie rankings.

British Formula 3 was the next step for Freddie where – despite a period of ill health which caused him to miss six races in the middle of the 2021 season – he racked up a respectable list of accolades including fastest lap at Silverstone and two podiums at Oulton Park and Donington Park.

The following year, Freddie raced in the 2022 EuroFormula Open Championship – scooping eight podiums and a race win at the season finale in Barcelona.

In 2023, the British driver made his move from single seaters to sportscars, taking part in his rookie endurance season in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with United Autosports. Freddie celebrated three WEC podium finishes in Sebring, Portimao and Fuji, and crossed the line P11 at his first Le Mans 24 Hour race.
