Media and Marketing Executive

We are hiring a Media and Marketing Executive to join our expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing motorsport businesses in the world. United Autosports is an established, championship-winning team contesting multiple race series in Europe, America, Asia and beyond as well as being the UK agent for a number of renowned motorsport products.

The position is on a full-time employee basis with an immediate start date, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

The role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Media and Marketing department, helping to drive growth as part of our overarching strategy.

Design skills and a good understanding of social media marketing are two core elements – however, working as part of an expanding team, the role will encompass a wide breadth of marketing channels and offers a fantastic opportunity to build on both traditional and digital capabilities.

The working hours are 0900-1700 with a half hour lunch. The successful candidate will be required to travel extensively, will need to work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision and must adapt quickly to the unique challenges presented by professional motorsport.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Media and Marketing Manager to plan, deliver and analyse marketing activities across a range of organic and paid channels including social, email, audio and press
  • Design and create a range of media and marketing materials from promotional merchandise to social media assets, email newsletter templates and more
  • Create a suite of digital assets that can be located and used by partners in accordance with their partnership rights, and take responsibility for keeping the same updated
  • Liaise with and secure suitable media partners (including but not limited to photographers, videographers), set clear briefs ahead of race events and manage as the main point of contact
  • Maintain and update a social media calendar, ensuring all pre-planned posts will launch at the most appropriate time and all assets are ready beforehand
  • Build and publish highly engaging social media activity, ensuring all content is on-brand and optimised by channel
  • Assist with marketing and sponsorship events including but not limited to personal appearance days by drivers and senior management
  • Support with proposals, post-event analysis and presentations to senior management

Essential requirements:

  • Experience working with most social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Graphic design skills with the Adobe suite of software
  • Video editing capabilities are an advantage
  • Ability to write copy for social media
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

It's required to be in comfortable reach of United Autosports’ base in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.The role involves international travel therefore the successful candidate should also have an up-to-date passport and driving licence.
