United Autosports are looking to recruit an HR Manager to join their international championship-winning race team. 

Reporting to: Max Gregory, Operations Manager

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for managing the HR function at United Autosports

• Collating personnel information for all members of staff and updating records where necessary

• Providing guidance to senior management on HR issues and requirements

• Assisting with recruitment, including creating job descriptions, advertising, pre-screening candidates and facilitating interviews

• Directing the company health and safety agenda and completing all internal risk assessments and trainings

• Providing support, engaging and educating staff on HR policies and procedures

• Creating and implementing new policies, procedures and systems as required

• Handling all employee relations cases, such as internal complaints, disputes and disciplinary’s and claims

• Managing redundancies and consultations

• Carrying out the welcome process for new employees and coordinating the exit process for those leaving the company

• Updating the employee handbook regularly in line with all company and legal developments• Ensuring compliance with HR related changes

• Carrying out companywide job evaluation to create job bands and aid succession planning as the company expands

• Implementing all HR related documentation

• Conducting regular staff appraisals and the probationary review process

• Facilitating staff development opportunities

• Benchmarking salaries to ensure they are competitive

About the role:

This is a part-time position of approximately 30 hours per week, based at the United Autosports facility in Wakefield, with flexible working hours suggested - 09:00-15:00 with half an hour for lunch.  

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role with the ability to communicate to employees at all levels and a keen eye for detail.

Experience and qualifications should include;

• BSc or MSc degree in Human Resource Management or any related discipline

• Experience of the full HR spectrum, including talent management, employee relations, benefits and compensation, health and safety, performance management and recruitment
