World Endurance Championship
The World Endurance Championship is an endurance sports car racing tournament organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series was first announced in June 2009 and officially launched in 2010. The series held three events in 2010 and is expanding to seven events. The World Endurance Championship achieves international television coverage and secondary coverage is enhanced by the premium and prestigious manufacturers who participate. The audience skews heavily professional, affluent male with a mean age of 47.
