Blancpain Endurance Series
This is an all new series in 2011, organized in parallel with the FIA GT3 European Championship and the GT4 European Cup. This new series of International GT racing is approved by the FIA and presented by the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium and SRO Motorsports Group, with the support of the prestigious Swiss watch manufacturer. Built around the legendary Total 24 Hours of Spa, which will form an essential part of the series, its first aim is to provide a very serious technical environment but with an application of the sporting rules in line with the wishes of the large majority of private teams and amateur drivers. With the three-driver line-up so popular with teams and drivers, and a three-step qualifying system inspired from Formula One, the new series aims to give teams drivers everything they want in a friendly yet professional atmosphere.
